Andrew Poleson                                          SA1971.196.18a & b

A little known dance tune having words associated with it that are seemingly  only known in Whalsay. Andrew first played the tune over on his fiddle and then after some coaxing sang a couple of lines.  It has the feel of a strathspey style of dance with its pointed rhythms. Roud Index no. 25921.
